Refunds and Exchanges Policy

- All refunds and exchanges will be the responsibility of individual merchants and not of shopinleitrim.com, subject to minimum required guaranteed on behalf of shopinleitrim.com based on the contractual obligation of individual merchants.
- Individuals merchants are permitted to offer their own refunds and exchanges policy. Where a conflict exists between the policy of an individual merchant and this policy, this policy will be deemed to have effect.
- Where a customer of this site had purchased a product or service on this site, and that product or service is not demonstrably the same as the service or product offered by the individual merchant, the customer will be entitled to a full refund of monies paid for that product or service, including shipping costs incurred in the receipt and return of that product or service or any product or service offered in exchange, or to exchange that product or service for another product or service from the merchant from whom the original product or service was purchased, provided the customer notifies either shopinleitrim.com or the individual merchant who sold the product or service of their intent within 30 days of receipt of that product or service at the address specified by the customer when placing the order at shopinleitrim.com, subject to other provisions of this policy.
- Where a customer of this site had purchased a product from this site, and thereafter wishes to exchange that product for another product, the customer will be entitled to exchange that product provided the exchange is made with the same merchant from whom the product was originally purchased and that the merchant is notified of the customers desire to exchange the product within 14 days of receipt of the product at the address specified by the customer when placing the order at shopinleitrim.com, subject to other provisions of this policy, and subject to agreement by the customer to pay any shipping costs associated with return of the original product and distribution of the new product.
- In the event that the product for which the exchange is being sought is received by the merchant in a condition in which its value has diminished since it was originally sold, and no indication of same is given to the merchant by the customer prior to receipt of the product at the address of the merchant, the customer will be not be entitled to either a refund or exchange other than at the discretion of the individual merchant. The merchant will be required to return to damaged or deteriorated product to the customer subject to agreement by the customer to pay any associated shipping charges.
- If a product is received by a customer in a condition where its value has been diminished due to damage or deterioration, the customor will be entitled to a full refund of monies paid for that product, including shipping costs incurred in the receipt and return of that product or any product or service offered in exchange, or to exchange that product for another product or service from the merchant from whom the original product or service was purchased, provided the customer notifies either shopinleitrim.com or the individual merchant who sold the product or service of the damage or detioration of the product within 7 days of receipt of that product or service at the address specified by the customer when placing the order at shopinleitrim.com, subject to other provisions of this policy.
- Where a product of service is purchased at a discounted price, any refund or exchange offered in respect of that product or service will be based on the discounted rather than the full price. Where a product or service has been discounted based on the value of a total order, or the number or products or services in an order, the merchant who offered that discount may reduce the amount of the refund offered if the removal or that product or service from the original order would have reduced to the value or extent of the order such that the discount was no longer available.
- A customer is not entitled to exchange a digital media product or any product whose value is based on intellectual copyright, unless that product is damaged, has deteriorated during shipping or is not the product ordered.
- Tickets to events and course bookings are not covered by this policy. Individual merchants are entitled to set their own refund policies for event tickets are course bookings, subject to Irish Law.
- All refunds will be made to the Credit Card number used by the customer to purchase the product or service for which the refund is being sought, unless otherwise specified by the individual merchant in their merchant specific policy. All refunds will be made in the currency used in the original transaction to purchase the product or service.
- A customer may apply to cancel an order if that application is made within 3 hours of the time at which the order was made. An application to cancel an order must be made to shopinleitrim.com and not to the individual merchant.
- Where a delivery time is disputed in relation to a customers entitlement to a refund or exchange, the customer will be required to provide evidence of that delivery time.
- This policy is subject to the provisions of Irish Law only.
- Nothing in this policy affects the statutory rights of shopinleitrim.com, Night Blue Fruit Technology Limited or any merchants who makes products or services for sale on shopleitrim.com.
